My boys love to join me in the kitchen, cooking and “experimenting.” I’ve included them as my sous chefs since they were able to sit on the floor and whisk up a bowl of scrambled eggs with a fork. We don’t do as much baking as I’d like, since I have one with a gluten sensitivity and one with a sugar sensitivity, but we manage to still find plenty of fun stuff to cook.

They grew their own peas last summer, but that still didn’t entice them into eating them. Can’t say I blame them, as I don’t eat peas either!

Gluten-free, sugar-free muffins can still taste good!
